We use a broad definition of Leader at Vitamin T, so you might work on anything from driving your own book of business with strategic sales, coaching & developing a team member, partnering with peers to create new offerings, and integrating new technology into a core business process.  You’ll be responsible for growing your regional book of business and driving a strong team of both sales and delivery while partnering across the country with other leaders to drive strategic initiatives.

We are looking for a Market Manager who is passionate about building a book of business and driving delivery that inspires client & talent devotion.

Role Description:

  • Create, coach and execute strategic sales and delivery strategy by considering data, known successful models, foundational recruiting and sales best practices

  • Ensure sales is positioned for strong growth by

    • Having a strong handle on all of the product/servicing offerings the organization can provide to the client

    • Confirming each team member is well aligned to overall goals having a detailed understanding and plan regarding clients and penetration approach

    • Upskilling all staff to know how to identify client gaps and pain points to create solutions

    • Driving clarity around goals and action plans to achieve them

  • Develop people at all levels for a variety of career paths as well as day to day activity. Ensuring that everyone is always abreast of current trends, technologies and approaches.  Mentoring, exposing, teaching and inspiring all staff to learn more and proactively seek learning/stretch opportunities to develop and enhance skills.  Designing and delivering training both from scratch and with Learning Service tools to quickly ramp, course correct or enhance a variety of skills

  • Think big picture strategic while staying organized to execute on value add daily activities 

  • Manage the core principles encouraging holism.

  • Build or leverage a playbook for best practices but not be crippled by the thought to pivot or adjust based on business needs.

  • Incorporate data and best practices into all discussions from measuring success to negotiating client expectations

  • Be directly responsible for delivering outstanding levels of customer service to both our Clients and Talent.

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients and attend networking efforts aimed at finding Talent or to engage with potential Clients.

  • Lead recruitment and placement of high quality candidates through various channels with a strong emphasis on referral networking.  

  • Embrace technology and lead by example through learning and evangelizing digital design trends and growth mindset thinking.

  • Be an incredible team player who works hard to help our team, our talent, and our clients as we all get smarter and grow, grow, grow!

  • Prior Staffing experience with Interactive design and/or technology experience would be fabulous.

  • Tech Savvy/ proactively seeking to learn more/new technology to solve problems.

  • Flexible to the environment and diverse perspectives - Able to operate in a matrix and constantly evolving culture. Desire to hear other perspectives flexibility to adjust to culture as you work across multiple teams internally as well as clients, one that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
