Support Services Risk Analyst
EECU is seeking a candidate with a positive attitude who is energetic, self-motivated, works independently and has a dependable attendance record. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and monitor risk and fraud prevention controls relating to various high risk functions within the Support Services department.
The individual in this position will have, or will develop, knowledge on software and data bases available for use during the development of reports for fraud mitigation, such as Monarch, Excel, Access, and core access to pull data.
The Support Services Risk Analyst position will report to Support Services Leadership.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Will put processes in place to prevent, detect, mitigate, control and manage fraud losses under the direction of the Support Services Manager.
- Maintain an ongoing proficiency in Regulations CC, D, DD and E.
- Serve as a Risk prevention resource, providing telephone support and advice to branch and back office personnel
- Design, present and evaluate Risk awareness training classes and materials for staff
- Maintain a working knowledge of all payment channels with regard to applicable vendors, regulation changes and desk processes.
Requirements of the position include:
- Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Monarch, Excel, Access, and core access to pull data.
- Possess strong relationship and communication skills to ensure proper client interaction in managing fraud issues.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Ability to prepare and analyze data in a logical manner and be able to summarize findings to both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Ability to independently handle, and prioritize, a variety of responsibilities simultaneously.
- Able to manage a high volume of work.
