Weekend Production Shift- WORK 36 HOURS GET PAID FOR 40
 
6:00am to 6:00pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday WILL BE PAID FOR 40 HOURS
Pay: $17.00/hour
Ameri-Kart's new hires participate in a program in which they receive a review in their first 60 days and can receive up to another 75 cents/hr thru demonstrating a positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, good work ethic and attendance.

The oven operator pulls parts out of molds after they come out of an oven and go through a cooling cycle.  The position is responsible for pouring powder, securing the mold to the arm/spider, clamping both parts of the mold together as well as cycling the arms properly

Secondary is responsible for finishing parts,trimming, drilling, cutting, installing components, and torching.  Final inspection for quality, color and order accuracy is also required. Other duties may be assigned or reassigned at any time.

 


Primary Duties (Oven Operator)

  • Pull parts in accordance with good manufacturing practices
  • Apply mold release
  • Maintain and clean parting lines
  • Identify required mold repairs
  • Filling molds with the proper amount of plastic powder (resin)
  • Daily housekeeping
  • Identify quality issues
  • Place parts in designated areas
  • Verify the molds on the oven match the molds listed in the computer
  • Post jobs in the computer system
  • Notify a supervisor if any issues are identified
  • Keep pace with the oven
  • Assist other secondary operations or ovens as time permits
  • Create a safe work environment

Primary Duties ( Secondary)
  • Inspect  and measure parts for conformance
  • Preform any required quality test on parts, including dip tank testing.
  • Clean, polish/buff, and vacuum  parts as specified
  • Cut or route holes/handles as required
  • Torch parts per specifications
  • Install components such as handles on parts
  • Complete documentation including inspection sheets
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Make sure labels/graphics are correctly affixed on parts
  • Keep pace with the oven
  • Assist other secondary operations or ovens as time permits
  • Creates a safe work environment
