The Opportunity:

• The RN is involved in the day-to-day flow of the Charlotte
Radiology Breast Center

• Works closely with the physicians, provide a high level of patient care
during procedures, administer mild sedation, manages any reactions or patients
in distress, and documents patient clinical history

• Set up and mix medications specific to each patient’s procedure - to be
administered during the procedure on a sterile tray, maintaining appropriate
sterile technique throughout the set up and procedure

• Maintains nursing stations and stock levels, as wells as medication logs

• Explains the clinical details of procedures to patients and family members

• Triages patient phone calls and provide patients with appropriate follow up
care instruction

• Various duties as they arise 

What We Need:

• At least 3 years nursing experience

• Associates Degree – RN


• Surgical or procedural experience and sterile technique experience

• Radiology experience preferred

• Knowledge of radiation, contamination and infectious disease management

• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures

• Experience mixing and administering medications

• Ability to interpret information and identify patient’s needs

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Adaptable to new and various situations and procedures

• Close attention to detail

• Must be able to walk and stand majority of the 8-hour shift and left more
than 50lbs.
