The Social Media Coordinator, who reports to the VP of Marketing and supports the Marketing and Aesthetics departments, assists Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in planning and creating unique content at a regional level for location social media accounts and various marketing channels. This position requires frequent travel between office locations to support social media content by office. The person employed in the Social Media Coordinator position may be called upon to perform other duties as required or assigned.

Essential Job Duties and Accountabilities
• Support corporate social media marketing strategy including content creation for local posts and social media paid ads.
• Assist in the development and production of promotional content (including videos and any other media) to support regional and corporate digital marketing campaigns as well as help grow our digital experience.
• Work with the Digital Marketing and Creative Team to create social media content focused on: Product/Retail spotlights, Service/Treatment spotlights, Before/After spotlights, Provider/Staff spotlights, Patient testimonials, Holidays/Celebrations, and Community Spotlights.
• Work with Regional Managers, APDM and RVP to stay aligned with local and regional content needs and direction.
• Submit content for location social media accounts using the outlined process for scheduling content to Facebook and Instagram; upload content to SharePoint for organization and storage.
• Assist location team with ensuring social media consent forms are complete, patient photo process is followed, and photos meet best practices and guidelines.
• Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on our social media platforms.
• Responsible for completion of reports as assigned, such as weekly status reports, expense reports, etc.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent mastery of the English language including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to practice confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations with patient information.
• Ability to practice professional ethics and use discretion concerning company directives and proprietary information and/or trade secrets of the organization.
• Ability to recognize a problem and effectively problem solve.
• Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to change.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in creating strong social media content for social media platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram - preferred

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to listen, speak, and interact effectively with professional contacts, co-workers, and customers, adapting communication for optimal understanding.
• Ability to respond to correspondence professionally and as appropriate.

Work Environment
Work is regularly performed in client office environments. Local travel with personal vehicle required.
