POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for managing the overall operations and ensuring compliance within assigned location, including administration of the financial business plan, overseeing all talent development & training, facility maintenance and customer experience objectives.  Ensure all Briggs Equipment standards comply with and are executed consistently with company direction.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Achieve company financial objectives for profit performance; assist with developing and monitoring budgets for assigned location

2. Ensure the maintenance of fiscal reporting procedures within assigned location are in full compliance with established company policies including: accounts receivable, inventory reports, monthly forecasts and related score cards 

3. Provide leadership for assigned location to ensure a positive customer experience

4. Ensure execution on monthly expectations and standards, strategies and action items

5. Manage the Parts Warehouse department and vendors who provide services for the care of the facility

6. Monitor, manage and supervision of new hires to include responsibility for selection, hiring, development and orientation procedures

7. Ensure execution of performance management process for employees in the assigned location, to include rewards and recognition, fostering positive morale and disciplinary procedures, up to and including termination of employment

8. Assess talent at all levels within the assigned location; provide ongoing coaching, training and feedback to develop the best talent in the industry

9. Partner with senior management to increase aftermarket sales by department

10. Work with cross functional partners (Human Resources, Finance, Technology, etc.) to ensure assigned location is in alignment with the Organization in all process and direction

11. Ensure Federal/State Law safety requirements are established within assigned location

12. Perform other related duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Basic Knowledge & Competencies:

Excellent customer service, time management and multi-tasking skills

Outstanding leadership and people development skills

Strong financial acumen, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision-making and quantitative analysis

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to assess customer patterns and adjust labor and branch focus accordingly

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel 


Previous Experience/Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

5+ years’ experience supervising management-level employees preferred

3+ years’ experience in leading a multi-unit work environment preferred

Experience in revenue generation to include the ability to analyze income statements and take appropriate action

Analytical decision-making preferred


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
