Skateboard Instructor - Columbia SportsPark and SkatePark
Do you enjoy serving others and working in a fast-paced environment? Columbia Association’s SportsPark and SkatePark is looking for a friendly, customer service-oriented and highly motivated team member to join our world class team as the Skateboard Instructor!
This position will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment at all times for our members, guests, prospective members and team members. They will be responsible for teaching and scheduling group skateboard lessons, semi-private lessons and private lessons. All lessons must fit with the instructors schedule as well as demand/participants schedule. The instructor will perform essential instructional and operational functions in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the Columbia SportsPark and SkatePark.
The Skateboard Instructor will be an integral part of the team and will strive to fulfill the CA Brand Promise, Mission, Vision and Values. The Skateboard Instructor ensures a successful, safe, clean, functional and customer service-focused environment. They inspire members, guests and team members through movement, community and personal attention. They will serve our members and guests in a variety of different ways, including selling programs and services. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives.
This position requires availability for varied hours and flexibility.
Requirements are: 2 years of skateboard experience and 1 year of skateboarding instruction required, must be a high school graduate and 18 years of age or older.
