CAMP COUNSELOR

The Columbia Association is seeking energetic, creative and responsible team members for our summer camps to supervise and facilitate a variety of recreational activities for children in a safe, fun and nurturing Camp setting. Team member duties will include daily setup and breakdown, following cleaning protocols consistent with the current CDC and MSDE guidance, supervision and age appropriate engagement with campers, daily lesson plan implementation both indoors and outside in summer temperatures. Camp team members must be able to stand for up to 6 hours, safely evacuate and relocate campers in an emergency, work with a range of school-aged children and be able to attend all mandatory training in Camps.
Camps run starting on June 21 - August 20th, 2021 from 7am-6pm. All camp team members do not need to be available every week and hours could vary based on enrollment. All camps staff must be available for training June 16th - 18th, 2021.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a group setting, must have a High School diploma or GED by the first day of camp (June 21, 2021). Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification. Must successfully pass background and Child Abuse & Neglect screening.
