Position Summary

The AVP, Analytics and Reporting Manager directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities of Analysts that perform systems analysis, design, development, and maintenance activities in support of Risk systems. As the Assistant Vice President of Analytics and Reporting you'll be using your skills in delivery management, project management, team management, systems functionality, and change management to deliver optimal and innovative solutions to the enterprise.

   
Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for the delivery of optimal and innovative solutions to the Stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving enterprise recommendations.
  • Ensures alignment of deliverables to business objectives, roadmaps and strategic solutions.
  • Leads a team of Developers and Analyst to plan, design, develop and implement processes & Visualizations that supports the company goals.
  • Works with the executives from various departments, to provide thought leadership and guidance to the team on implementations of analytical use cases.
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement in developing and managing the automation and maintenance of Risk based programs and processes.
  • Anticipates issues based on knowledge of business trends and proposes direction and solutions as determined by end-state.
  • Responsible for ensuring that work is well documented and mitigate any risks with the implementation of processes.
  • Responsible for auditing and quality control to ensure that work meets quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years with Project/Delivery Management.
  • Technical Background with working knowledge of Advanced Analytics tools such as Tableau, SAS, etc. 
  • Must have prior experience as people manager with proven record of developing staff. 
  • Ability to lead discussions as well as identify and compare alternative solutions to determine the optimal solution that will best meet the business needs.
  • Highly motivated and upbeat self-starter with proven organizational and time management skills; demonstrable experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing, rapidly changing, highly complex environment.   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present subject matter, specifically translating technology problems/solutions to business partners and senior leadership, as well as translating high level directives into technical approaches consumed by technical group.
  • Takes initiative to learn new things within the business and is up to date with the latest in the industry.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills. 
  • Passionate about technology and trying new things.
  • Must have well developed organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
