BASIC PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Tax Accountant II is to be responsible for timely and accurate income and franchise tax compliance tax filings. This individual is also responsible for assisting with the preparation of the US quarterly and year-end tax provisions in the company’s financial reports, development of quarterly and annual effective tax rates estimates, tax reserves, tax account reconciliations and deferred tax account roll forward analysis. The Senior Tax Accountant II should have a working knowledge of ASC 740 and will also assist with any IRS federal, state and local income/indirect tax audits and notices and liaison with outside tax advisors

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
• Timely and accurate filing of all federal/state income and franchise tax returns in OneSource Income Tax.
• Prepare and maintain industry standard tax return workpapers supporting all positions taken.
• Assist with the preparation and review of the Company’s ASC 740 calculations and associated SEC disclosures in OneSource Tax Provision.
• Assist with the preparation of annual effective tax rates estimates, tax reserves, tax account reconciliations and deferred tax account roll forward analysis.
• Assist with preparation of federal, state and local estimated tax payments.
• Assist with all IRS, state and local audits as required
• Assist with all IRS, state and local correspondence requests as required.
• Assist with quarterly transfer pricing functions.
• Review internal controls for tax procedures and documentation.
• Perform essential functions in a professional, efficient team-oriented approach.
• All other duties as assigned.
