  • Position Summary

  • Del Taco is seeking an individual aspiring to build a strong IT foundation acting as the technical point of triage and resolution for enterprise level applications supported by IT. They will work directly with the business and external vendors to analyze application specific issues and provide a path towards resolution. They’ll build knowledge of computer software, hardware, networks, and operating systems that will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the IT application portfolio.
  • The IT Systems Analyst contributes through application issue triage and resolution; application role administration; supporting key Sarbanes-Oxley controls; production implementation support; and developing skills as the SME for core enterprise applications.

  • Essential Job Functions
  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ability to break down complex technical problems into actionable items for the business
  • Administrates user access for IT managed applications.
  • Expand the company Knowledge Base with help desk articles, user guides, and other supporting documentation for applications.        
  • Escalation point for application related configuration requests and incidents.
  •  Escalation point for application related configuration requests and incidents.
  • Escalation point for application related configuration requests and incidents.        
  • Escalation point for application related configuration requests and incidents.
  •  Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley IT general control compliance for in-scope applications.            
  • Provide production implementation support.
  •  Resolve first level application issues and most second level application issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.     
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • 1.  Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required

    ·      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent work experience in a related field.

    2.  Minimum Experience required

    · Prior experience building and supporting IT application development in a food / retail industry preferred        


    3.    Skills Required

    ·      Configuration of enterprise level applications (Required) 

    · Communicate effectively with stakeholders and peers (Required)         


    ·       Excellent people skills with a professional attitude (Required)

    ·       Technical problem resolution (Required)

    · Time management and organizational skills (Required)        

     
    ·     Microsoft SQL (Preferred)

    ·     Microsoft PowerShell (Preferred)

    4.    Tools & Technologies

    ·    Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook (Required)     

    ·     Microsoft Power BI (Preferred)   

    ·   Microsoft SSMS (Preferred)   

    ·    ServiceNow ITSM (Preferred)

    ·    Regular business hours

    ·    On-site in Lake Forest, CA (Required)
