Responsibilities:
Manage Salesforce enhancements and features from ideation through development and delivery.
Conduct regular discovery meetings with stakeholders to define, document and prioritize requirements for Salesforce. The ability to distill pain points and problems into actual requirements is critical to this role.
Maintain and prioritize product backlog to ensure the team is delivering stories on schedule AND that the stakeholders are aware of this schedule.  We work in an Agile development environment with 2-week sprints.  This role will manage key work stories to ensure completion.
Work closely with the Director of Salesforce Development to determine technical solutions for managed stories.  Help admins prioritize the work as needed.
Project Management skills to ensure completion of each work story is essential.   Often times, the path to completion will present hurdles and unplanned complexity.  This role ensures that the challenges are addressed and projects are pushed to the finish line.
Research current solutions (Salesforce add-on products) in the marketplace to solve for various pain points within the Sales Operations function.
Assist Stakeholders with team adoption of new features/functionality. This includes regular communication to stakeholders and their teams via email and meetings.
Be the voice of the Stakeholder - audit users’ experience with the Product to optimize that experience, provide value, and analyze feedback to adjust the Product Roadmap as necessary.
Be a team player with the Salesforce Development team!  Work collaboratively in daily meetings to reach team goals.
Develop skills and knowledge on Salesforce features, functionality to provide excellent customer service to your stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management.
Assist the team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.

Competencies:
Project management experience and ability to manage up and down.
o Firm and can handle tough or competing personalities; experienced in communicating with senior management.
o Able to work with CRM Team and component teams or consultants outside of the CRM Team firmly to remove roadblocks for success.
Salesforce Administrator Certified
Understanding of the customer lifecycle and the role of Salesforce to support each stage.
Ability to work collaboratively across the various business functions, maintain a strong relationship and work towards solutions that help the business. 
Strong focus on getting work done and doing everything possible to keep projects on track; polite but firm on timelines.
Understands the measure of success is completing work and user engagement -- successful delivery of work and communication to stakeholders.
Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed Salesforce system and functional designs (or strong Project Management skills with ability and desire to learn this process).
Well organized and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills/relationship building skills.
Basic knowledge of Salesforce.com and curiosity and passion to build foundational knowledge of Salesforce.  Passionate about solving business issues in Salesforce.com without losing sight of what’s good for the business.
Communicates effectively, manages conflict and drives user engagement.
Able to handle lots of change & requests from leadership; ability to pivot when needed.
Salesforce Sales Cloud Certification will be a plus.

Our Strategy

FLEETCOR is a growth company, and we employ a simple three-prong strategy for growing our business:

  • More Customers. We invest more than $200 million per year in sales and marketing, predominately focused on new customer acquisition. We continue to scale existing sales channels and headcount, enable our sales people with demand generation and other tools, and launch new distribution channels both internally and through partners such as ERP software providers, telematics companies, and banks. We will also grow our customer base inorganically through acquisitions.
  • More Spend. We seek to leverage our existing customer relationships and capture greater share of their business payment expenditures. As such, we have developed various “beyond” initiatives, where we extend the utility of an existing payment product without degrading the core value proposition of the original product. As such, a customer can “buy more stuff” without sacrificing the controls and reporting which attracted the customer to our product to begin with. For example:
    • Our Fuel card customers can enable their cards to allow non-fuel purchases relevant to their business, like allowing a painting crew to buy supplies at a home improvement store, so they can finish the paint job.
    • Our Toll tag customers can use their in-vehicle RFID tags to make other “on the go” purchases like parking, fuel and fast-food.
For our customers, these product extensions reduce payment friction, saving them time and operational headaches. For FLEETCOR, these product extensions can increase our share of wallet with existing customers and can increase our products’ appeal and applicability to previously-unserved customer segments (e.g., non-toll urban dwellers). We also create new product offerings, developed internally or in conjunction with partners, to cross-sell to our existing customer base.
  • More Geographies. We continue to seek attractive entry opportunities in major international markets, which we intend to pursue through acquisitions and partnerships.
