Manager, Employee Experience

 

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Manager, Employee Experience within our Human Resource division. This position falls under our Corporate Overhead line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN, San Mateo, CA, Beaverton, OR or Vancouver, CAN.  In this role, you will partner with assigned LOB leaders to provide expertise in the areas of staffing, workforce planning, employee relations, investigations, and retention.  Executes the HR strategy to support the aligned business strategy and FLEETCOR values.  You will report directly to VP HR Operations and regularly collaborate with HR Operations.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Collaborate with HR Talent Acquisition Partner and LOB leaders to forecast staffing needs and anticipate shifts. Assist in developing recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Identify internal talent and collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Partner to fill open positions.
  • Provide advice and support to leaders, managers, and employees on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Offer guidance on compensation, benefits, and employee services, and conduct training in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and interpret company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a key business partner, fostering a positive employee relations environment and promoting successful business practices.
  • Providing guidance and support to direct reports in their professional growth and career advancement.
  • Staying informed about changes to California employment laws and regulations, and proactively updating policies, procedures, and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Providing support for projects as required and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Operations team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years of Human Resource or similar operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferred certifications include PHR and SHRM.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior HR professionals.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate change, engage stakeholders, and mitigate resistance.
  • Experience using HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), MS Project
