FLEEETCOR is looking for a true leader and innovator, who can use their product management skills to drive new innovation for our Currency Risk Management Product Line at Cambridge Global Payments. This position will focus on defining and building innovative products that drive the company’s vision for growth for this product line.  At the foundation for these Innovations will be the following:  Drive to help our clients manage risk to their business due to currency/market fluctuations by providing insights into their currency risk planning decisions by leveraging our online tools. Continued use of our current high touch, consultation model, alongside adding new technological innovations to solve key customer challenges. Introduce self service capabilities and widen the overall value proposition.  The right person will also provide thought leadership as to how this product line fits into unified branding initiatives ongoing for all FLEETCOR products.

Job Duties:

  • Research market and industry trends/direction, opportunities, and threats and how they are related to achieving the product goals.
  • Study established and emerging competitor strengths and weakness and understand how to leverage or counter them in the product positioning.
  • Understand the product features, architecture and value to the market and customers.
  • Deep understand of all personas in the buyer process, their needs, drivers and goals and determine product fit.
  • Define important product use cases and key user workflows using journey mapping tools, in a clear and easy to understand way.
  • Constructively work with UX design teams to bring the “product to life”
  • Define clear positioning and differentiated messaging for products and features.
  • Define pricing strategy.  Work alongside stakeholders to define strong, competitive pricing structures to optimize revenues.
  • Enable online tools that both digitalize the offline experience of working with our market professionals while also providing direct user insights to better manage risk


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years working in product management and can demonstrate experience in building products from scratch, from Vision/Mission though build and launch to Market
  • Experience with working with UX design & Agile Scrum Teams
  • Experience working in currency risk management, FX derivatives trading or equivalent business. 
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools such as Aha is a bonus

  • Has proven record of managing cross functional teams to drive the product objectives forwards.  Bring alignment or consensus across differing views across the group.
  • Ability to confidently speak to groups, such as executives or in conferences and clearly convey impactful messages and tell great stories!
  • Ability to analyze data and information and make well founded and defensible decisions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within and across teams to achieve goals and outcomes
  • Effectively manage relationships with those in more senior roles.
  • Ability to craft technical solutions to automate manual processes.

Our Strategy

FLEETCOR is a growth company, and we employ a simple three-prong strategy for growing our business:

  • More Customers.  We invest more than $200 million per year in sales and marketing, predominately focused on new customer acquisition.  We continue to scale existing sales channels and headcount, enable our sales people with demand generation and other tools, and launch new distribution channels both internally and through partners such as ERP software providers, telematics companies, and banks.  We will also grow our customer base inorganically through acquisitions.
  • More Spend.  We seek to leverage our existing customer relationships and capture greater share of their business payment expenditures.  As such, we have developed various “beyond” initiatives, where we extend the utility of an existing payment product without degrading the core value proposition of the original product.  As such, a customer can “buy more stuff” without sacrificing the controls and reporting which attracted the customer to our product to begin with.  For example:
    • Our Fuel card customers can enable their cards to allow non-fuel purchases relevant to their business, like allowing a painting crew to buy supplies at a home improvement store, so they can finish the paint job.
    • Our Toll tag customers can use their in-vehicle RFID tags to make other “on the go” purchases like parking, fuel and fast-food.

For our customers, these product extensions reduce payment friction, saving them time and operational headaches. For FLEETCOR, these product extensions can increase our share of wallet with existing customers and can increase our products’ appeal and applicability to previously-unserved customer segments (e.g., non-toll urban dwellers).  We also create new product offerings, developed internally or in conjunction with partners, to cross-sell to our existing customer base.

  • More Geographies.  We continue to seek attractive entry opportunities in major international markets, which we intend to pursue through acquisitions and partnerships.
