Gannett’s Marketing Operations team is looking for a high energy, smart and experienced direct marketer to manage Campaign Fulfillment. It’s a big job that moves at a quick pace.  And, you must love change.  That is our one constant.

 

So, if you’re an adrenaline junkie who doesn’t want to repeat the same day twice, our Campaign Fulfillment Manager position could be for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for the placement of various media and digital advertising, print fulfillment of direct marketing campaigns and liaise with multiple vendors. 

 

You will work collaboratively and oversee project implementation working in partnership with various internal teams. Strong communication skills are essential to the Campaign Fulfillment Manager’s success.  With Gannett consisting of more than 260 daily media organizations across 47 states, more than 145 million unique visitors every month, the pace is fast, the deadlines are strict and the impact far-reaching.  The candidate must be able to successfully navigate this environment with flawless execution and stellar communication abilities. The work of the Campaign Fulfillment Manager contributes to the organization’s overall success in achieving subscription volume and revenue goals.  

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities


Manage the execution of all print production for the direct mail, free standing inserts (FSI) and shared mail campaigns, including working collaboratively with internal team members and suppliers to secure project quotes, verify successful data transfers, process multiple rounds of proofs and confirm final project execution.


Coordinate placement of media which could include out-of-home, Programmatic, ROS, etc.


Communicate compliance updates to all marketing vendors, including subscription disclaimers.


Own all aspects of the process on behalf of the company, conferring with vendors concerning delivery timetables and maintaining status of assigned projects always to ensure marketing communications reach target audience at requested timeframes.


Direct the Marketing Operations Associates to ensure scheduling commitments are met for internal and external stakeholders across all marketing channels. These efforts drive both consumer and partnership revenue.


Work with Sr. Manager, Campaign Fulfillment, to establish goals for the Campaign Fulfillment team and prioritize tasks against the Marketing Operations OKRs using North Star priorities. Organize and schedule staff to ensure accurate and on time campaign deliverables while continuously assessing and optimizing resources. 


Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years managing and executing successful B2C marketing programs delivering growth and building strong brands. 3-5 years negotiating and working with vendors, including digital media and print production. Outbound telemarketing legislation knowledge is a plus. This role is a blend of specialized client services, project management, negotiation, and self-direction. It requires a strong collaborator who can work successfully across internal and external stakeholders.
