Benchmark Cosmetic Laboratories, Inc. is looking for an accomplished, self-directed and driven Business Development Manager who will be responsible for the sale of the organization’s services in Irvine, CA.

Essential Functions

  • Contact all prospect leads in a timely manner.

  • Educate and build relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Proactively research and develop lists of potential customers.

  • Methodically follow up on sales leads.

  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends, government regulations, and technical developments that effect target markets.

  • Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.

  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner.

  • Provide Project Managers and Technical Team with accurate information regarding each project.

  • Create Sales Proposals, Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work

  • Must be able to use CRM and various quoting software


  • BS in Chemistry or related sciences

  • 2+ years of experience in business development preferred

  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is required

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

  • Strong customer orientation and ability to foster long term customer relationships.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
