Scope of Work
 

This position serves as the point of contact for reporting and compliance needs within the department by staying abreast of industry news and threat intelligence. Responsible for gathering and analyzing data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance while adhering to Department/Company standards and established service level agreements (SLA’s).  


Essential Functions (3)

 
Application Support and Analysis

  • Ensure integrity, security, stability, and system availability.  Investigate, analyze and resolve application issues
  • Manage the Implementation software installations and upgrades
  • Facilitate DR Testing and documentation of appropriate systems
Information Security Management

  • Works with the team in the investigation, identification and documentation of compliance variances, security incidents, and overall review findings. 
  • Adhere to and ensure information security policy for all application
  • Administer the distribution software patches
  • Oversees the day-to-day compliance monitoring and aligned analytics for security applications along with IT security policies. 
  • Facilitates ongoing development of IT policies, procedures and standards for the applications/systems
  • Provide reporting and Metrics for security findings and incidents
Support Desk

  • Advanced level expertise for Support Desk 
  • Responds to Support Desk requests as assigned
  • Answers incoming support desk phone calls and manages ticket queue
  • Provision and maintain inventory for Hardware and Software

Desired Certifications and/or Licenses·        

  • A+ Certification
  • Net+ Certification or equivalent knowledge
  • MCDBA certification or equivalent knowledge 
  • CISA certification or equivalent knowledge 


Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:·        

  • Skilled in/ Proficiency with Microsoft and IBM Database platforms and server operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Server Virtualization (VMWare), DFS, and SAN Storage
  • Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problems
  • Prior knowledge of banking regulations is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change 

Desired Job Experience·       

  • 5 years of related experience - Business Line Related
  • Experience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environment

Desired Education·        

  • High school or General Education Diploma
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of computer science preferred

Working Conditions/Minimum Physical Requirements·        

  • Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards 
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Lifting and moving of moderately heavy objects on occasion
  • Normally seated for extended periods of time
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Some exposure to outdoor elements and inclement weather
  • Some lifting, stretching, bending, walking, climbing and pushing
