Scope of Work

Administration of application upgrades as well as provides application support.  Works with the Network Administration area in support of network systems.  Adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Department standards (i.e. checklists/procedures).  Provides advance level skillsets for Support Desk.


Essential Functions (3)

  • Application Support
    • Ensure integrity, security, stability, and system availability as well as troubleshoot application issues
    • Implement software installations and upgrades
    • Document and test appropriate business continuity systems
    • User Provisioning
  • Information Security
    • Adhere to and maintain information security policy for all applications
    • Assists with any security incidents as needed
    • Administer the distribution software patches
  • Support Desk
    • Responds to Support Desk requests as assigned
    • Answers incoming support desk phone calls and manages ticket queue
    • Provision and maintain inventory for Hardware and Software

Certifications/Licenses Required

  • A+ Certification
  • Network+ Certification or equivalent


Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Skilled in/ Proficiency with Microsoft, VMWare
  • Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problems
  • Prior knowledge of banking regulations is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change

 

Desired Job Experience

  • 3 years of related experience - Business Line Related
  • Experience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environment

 

Desired Education

High school or General Education Diploma

 

Working Conditions/Minimum Physical Requirements

  • Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards 
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Lifting and moving of moderately heavy objects on occasion
  • Normally seated for extended periods of time
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Some exposure to outdoor elements and inclement weather
  • Frequent lifting, stretching, bending, walking, climbing and pushing
