Operations Coordinator, Laredo, TX
This position is working on-site at the Laredo, TX facility.
Daily coordination of all trailers in Mexican market including freight coordination for shipments to and from Mexico.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Assist the BCO's and agents on any questions/concerns on procedures.
Responsible for maintaining all operations forms.
Maintain and follow up on Skybitz reporting by contacting Mexican customers and carriers to retrieve trailers.
Handle all trailer tracking and trace.
Maintain trailer control and reporting in computer system
Compile various daily and weekly reports
Answer all requests for trailer control.
Responsible to work closely with our maintenance and tire vendors, handling all maintenance and tire reporting.

Working knowledge of HazMat regulations
Working knowledge of safety and security processes in the trucking industry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organization and effective communication skills
Background and knowledge of Mexican Operations required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required; A.A. degree preferred;
Minimum Education: 1-2 years' experience in trucking/terminal operations, required.
Years’ Experience for full proficiency in role: Six months
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
