Product Manager - Agent Technology

SUMMARY

As a member of the Agent Technology cross-functional team, support product owner throughout product development life-cycle including research, analysis, design, testing, and introduction of technology products and enhancements to end users.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Support Product Owners in developing workflow for various Landstar products
  • Conduct research to to develop a good understanding of user needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.
  • Develop requirement documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts.
  • Attend technology meetings and represent the user experience
  • Proactively engage targeted user group to secure feedback and evaluate user adoption risk
  • Capture and edit user workflow/business cases
  • Create and report progress on work requests
  • Create User Guides and/or User Release Notes for each production release
  • Provide SQA system testing assistance
  • Research production functionality in response to internal/external questions, document use cases, and promote change requests to Project Owner for prioritization
  • Digest, refine, and combine Help Desk report findings w/existing backlog
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Heavy travel required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree, B.A. preferred
  • one to three years related experience, required
