Bilingual Lead Case Manager Position 

at A New Leaf


We're looking for highly motived individuals that are passionate in working with children. The role that we are currently looking to fill is a Lead Case Manager position. The Lead Case Manager assist the program by collaborating with Lead Clinician for administrative and clinical issues regarding admission, discharge and utilizations of management issues. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations in policy development and implementation according to State Licensing, ORR Policies and Procedures. Essential Functions:

  •  Assign cases to the department.
  • Being On call and serving as the main point of contact for approving initial placements, youth being transferred and for requests for information in coordination with Program Director.
  • Ensure that case managers/case aides properly close case files upon youth leaving the shelter.
  • Prepare and submit weekly case log reports to program staff, local funding source representative and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain a daily updated list of the status for all cases to ensure that adequate progress is being made.
  • Ensure that Case Management Significant Incident Reports (SIRs) on a timely manner (within 4 hours of receiving notifications).
  • Attend Management meetings, trainings and other events
  • Communicate with other leads, and stake holders.
  • Complete Interviews as well as coaching
  • And other Responsibilities



  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services, or Social Services, required.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish; including, having the ability to read legal documentation in Spanish.



  • 3-years of progressive employment experience that demonstrated supervisory and case management experience in a 24-hour service facility.

  • 3-years’ experience meeting strict deadlines.

  • 1-year experience with or applicable knowledge of ORR policy and procedures; including, all aspects of case management, services, sponsor assessments, and safe and timely release.            

  • Child welfare and/or case management experience strongly preferred.



  • Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation; driving is required.

  • Current Auto Liability Insurance

  • 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record

  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
