Reporting to the Director, Brand Development, this position will design, art direct and guide all creative projects for the Brand & Strategic Marketing [BSM] team.  This role is essential in the creative implementation of brand campaigns and signature brand activations. This individual will work with the Vice President, Brand & Strategic Marketing [VPDSM] and Director, Brand Development [DBD] to coordinate with key Lee Enterprises editorial and design teams to develop best-in-class creative assets. 

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute creative execution and processes from concept to completion for the BSM team
Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams including edit, design, product, UI/UX to launch multi-discipline creative assets
Collaboratively work with Lee Enterprises’ creative agency in the development and launch of campaigns
Manage and execute all creative assets for local market brand campaigns
Translate BSM creative objectives into clear plans for the wider Lee Enterprises’ organization
Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met at the highest level across the organization
Where applicable, review and provide insights on profitability, deliverables, timelines and budgets for all creative projects
When engaged, advise adjacent creative teams in the design and production of marketing collateral

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree 
7+ years of design/creative experience at a creative/digital agency, client side marketer or consumer brand with deep digital roots
Must have a keen eye for style and understanding key brand attributes
Portfolio of creating and developing successful creative assets for new and relaunched media brands
Ability to manage successfully and complete multiple-projects simultaneously
Supportive and collaborative team player
