Summary

Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, this this position is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service is provided throughout Lions Junction, working with cashiers, concessions staff, and pool management. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. This is a seasonal position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivers excellent customer service to the patrons, renters, members, and the general public both on the phone and in person
  • Opens /closes the admissions area and ensures area is maintained
  • Tracks essential records and prepare reports as required; to include but not limited to attendance, invoices, accident reports, and daily count sheets
  • Receives payment for gate fees, membership sales, pavilion reservations, catering fees, locker rentals, swim lessons, and food sales
  • Uses RecTrac for financial operations, inventory, and reports as needed
  • Perform daily tasks such as cleaning, filing, sorting, answering phones, copying, and other general office tasks
  • Sets up, tears down, and clean s area for programs and activities
  • Ensures City financial policies, procedures, and safety guidelines followed
  • All other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of working at a summer program or related area
  • Customer service experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
