About this position:   

  

The Patient Financial Services Account Representative is a key role that serves as the point of contact for PPGNHAIK patients and provides exceptional customer service by answering phones and responding to inquiries and requests regarding third party billing.   

  

What you’ll be doing:

  • Utilize outstanding customer service skills, answers incoming calls and evaluate patient requests. 
  • Verify insurance coverage, processes payments, sets up payment plans, and performs collection activities.   
  • Perform clerical tasks and special billing projects.    
  • Perform some billing follow-up responsibilities.

You’ll need to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • One or more years of customer service experience. 
  • Knowledge of medical insurance companies and their billing procedures and basic knowledge of coordination of payments and diagnosis codes. 

Extra points for:

  • Medical terminology experience. 
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
