Job Summary:
Sweeping Corp of America is seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of tires. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also work in our shop and support mechanical technicians by retrieving parts for repair and other duties as assigned. If you possess excellent mechanical skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you to join our team and contribute to our success.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 11am – 8pm.
Rate of Pay: $18.50 per hour
Location:9000 Trinity Blvd, Hurst, TX 76053
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory control.
- Inspect vehicles and identify tire wear or damage
- Perform tire repairs, replacements, and rotations as needed
- Mount, balance, align, and repair tires
- Ensure tires are properly inflated and meet safety standards
- Mount/dismount and Repair tires
- Make minor repairs as needed.
- Assist technicians in other duties as assigned/requested
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License required and clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role, preferred
- Knowledge of tire tools, repair techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude and industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of tire types, sizes, and performance characteristics
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift heavy tires and stand for extended periods
