We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant/ Coordinator to support our recruiting and onboarding activities. This is a full-time position with lots of room for growth. If you have some experience in recruiting and you’re an excellent organizer and communicator, we’d like to meet you.

Recruitment Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Supporting recruiting teams with clerical duties
  • Support the recruitment process for recruiters, managers, and candidates.
  • Helping with initial applicant screening 
  • Assist in  hiring process activities as assigned by manager
  • Manage administrative recruitment activities assigned by manager or recruiter.
  • Undertake clerical duties (e.g. answering emails answering basic onboarding question from candidates and managers)
  • Prepare and post job ads online
  • Help with resume screening and move status in ATS
  • Review pre employment documentation in system and send appropriate follow communication to move process forward (ie Review background checks, MVR, and Drug screen result.
  • Follow up on vendor delays, candidate delays and manager delays as needed
  • Handle records and paperwork
  • Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g. interview cancellations)
  • Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing documents, coordinating orientation agendas)


Requirements for Our Recruitment Assistant:

  • Proven experience as Recruitment Assistant or other recruiting-related role
  • Flexible and a self starter
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
  • Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • BSc/BA in HR, Business or relevant field or equivalent work experience
