The Warehouse Manager position is responsible for overseeing the warehouse logistics and kitting operation as well as forecasting expenses, establishing, and executing strategic direction, and interacting with leadership to determine future infrastructure needs.


  • Train, or facilitate the training of new associates in all aspects of their job function
  • Motivate, coach, reward, and discipline associates; resolve personnel issues
  • Manage vacation approvals, timecard approval, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, training, etc.
  • Oversee the completion of quarterly and annual reviews of associates
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, associates, and other departments
  • Ensure all shipping requirements are met as identified by customers (internal and external), freight carriers, and regulations
  • Maintain sufficient & current Hazardous Material Shipping Certifications in department
  • Resolve customer issues (internal and external)
  • Support the Service Center by maintaining their service stock
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures complying with legal regulations and company’s policies.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ISO compliant processes with a focus on gross margin improvement and other continuous operations improvements utilizing 5S and Lean principles
  • Support verification of all Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements communicated by the corporate office
  • Participate in the development, execution, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the warehouse(s) and implement corrective measures when necessary
  • Work with other parts & accessories leadership to develop and report yearly goals, objectives, budgets, and growth opportunities
  • Meet warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or Accounting; or be willing to obtain degree with equivalent work experience in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, customer service, material handling, or supply chain operations
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading others
  • APICS certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt, and Hazardous Material Shipping Certification preferred
  • Demonstrated successful supplier negotiation skills
  • Practical knowledge of Lean principles

  • Intermediate computer skills are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
