Job Summary:

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently performing all related activities for the sourcing, recruiting, screening and interviewing of qualified candidates.  While ensuring adherence to all federal, state and local regulations in the employment process. The duties include: recruitment, onboarding, special projects, employment law compliance and other recruitment duties and functions as required.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         The full life-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, assessment, selection, perform background checks and extend offers of employment

·         Administer new employee onboarding and assist with Orientation

·         Post positions and source candidates utilizing job posting websites, job boards, social media, professional networking and cold calling

·         Collaborate with the HR and Management teams to develop effective recruitment strategies

·         Participation in career fairs as needed

·         Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and best practices related to recruitment, hiring and employment

·         Create and maintain paper personnel files, electronic HRIS and payroll data, and related HR documentation

·         Assist with open enrollment, training and employee benefits programs

·         Prepare information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends

·         Provide policy and procedure guidance to employees and Management

·         Assist with Safety and Health programs

·         Respond to Human Resources related inquiries

·         All other duties as assigned



Qualifications:            Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience

·         Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience

·         Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills

·         Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast paced environment

·         Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

·         Knowledge of Human Resources and employment laws, regulations and best practices for recruitment and hiring

·         Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

·         Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

·         Proficient with MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), the Internet and Social Media platforms
