Department Title: Accounts Receivable

Supports the Accounts Receivable management team with data analysis, daily and monthly reporting, and responses to manager information requests. May provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to Executive Management. The Business Analyst Internship supports the Business Analyst/IT/Data Science departments with the tuning and development of automation tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interpret, develop, and analyze data requests on a daily basis
- Must have a high level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- The ability to do any basic and advanced formulas to create and analyze data
- Must have a high ability to multitask and have a high attention to detail
- Must have excellent communication skills
Education in process within Quantitative field or strong elective subset
Healthcare and/or insurance background
Experience with running analysis queries using DAX, SQL, and Python or related education
Project management techniques and other stat software a plus
Knowledge of dimensional modeling techniques
Can communicate analysis to non-“numbers” people
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is consistently required to sit; use hands, fingers, handle, feel; and talk, hear & see. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment with employees in 3 states in multiple locations. Travel to other company and incident locations may be required. Lifting requirements of a minimum of 40 lbs.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly in verbal contact with others and constantly works face-to-face with and around others. Consistently uses office equipment such as computers, typewriters, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, keyboard, calculator, stapler, etc.
