Position Summary: Under limited supervision the LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENT FOREMAN supervises workers who landscape and install irrigation systems at commercial job sites, or common areas in residential and commercial developments along public or private roads.
Ability to manage people to consistently maintain a very high level of quality in the landscape

The LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENT FOREMAN coordinates delivery of plant and equipment deliveries to the job site.
May confer with clients, studies landscape drawings, and bills of materials to ascertain scope of landscaping work required, such as installation of lighting, or irrigation systems, erection of fences, concrete work, and types of trees, shrubs, or ornamental plants specified.
Inspects site to determine equipment requirements.
Oversees and assists the irrigation technicians installing the irrigation system.
Plans landscaping functions and sequences of work at various sites to obtain optimum utilization of work force and equipment.
Assists, directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in performing landscaping functions.
Ensures that materials are on-site as needed.
Ensures that all work at sites is in compliance with terms and specifications of contract.
Monitors equipment assigned to the team, including arranging timely maintenance, keeping equipment clean and adhering to all safety requirements.
Maintains high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsible to achieve predetermined labor and material budgets for each job.
Responsible for the maintenance of planted material, mowing of turf, weed-eating and weed control in beds and tree collars before the job is turned over to the Operations Manager, or client.
Responsible that safety procedures are followed on the job.
Additional Job Functions:
May prepare change orders in the field, or immediately notifies Enhancement Manager to prepare change order.
Attend weekly scheduling and Safety meeting.
Accurately and timely complete daily time sheet and shipping tickets.
May assist in snow removal activities when necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 6-9 laborers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include instructing and training employees.

Education and/or Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the landscape maintenance field.
Language Skills: Must speak English and have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver’s license issued from the state in which they reside. The driving record must meet the standards in the Employee handbook.
