Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
**2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Must be able to train on day shift for a minimum of 90 days. **
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general building maintenance and supporting the mechanical needs of the facility to prevent unplanned downtime.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform General facility maintenance.
- Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Complete basic carpentry and painting task.
- Complete general upkeep functions throughout the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Document maintenance records of all work performed.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of general facility maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in various environments, including standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
- Basic computer operating skills required (Word, Excel).
- Be proficient in writing and communication skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of facility maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with CMMS software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, SECURITY CLEARANCE, TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS, ETC.):
- The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
