SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by functioning as the first point of contact for HR-related queries for locations throughout the US. The Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative duties such as maintaining personnel records, conducting new hire orientation, and recruitment support.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Conducts screening, interviewing, and testing of job candidates.
  • Supporting the administrative part of the new hire process (screening, contracts, updating of HR systems)
  • Maintains human resources records by tracking new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, and time-off.
  • Orients new employees by providing new-hire packets, company policies, payroll and benefits information.
  • Answers employee queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Generating reports on general HR activity
  • Assists with internal employee relations investigations at the direction of the HR Director
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Other job duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 1 Year of Administrative experience
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with keeping multiple tasks organized and prioritizing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related field and/or a Human Resources certification
  • 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Proven work experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant role
  • Experience with HR software such as Ceridian Dayforce, WorkDay, SuccessFactors
