We are seeking an energetic and experienced Production Operator for our Niagara Falls, N.Y. facility, well-situated between the U.S. and Canadian border.
Job Definition
- Performs service work for all elements of electro minerals manufacturing and shipping including general and sanitary cleaning, trucking, repairing screens (and related equipment), emptying, collecting and packing of dust collector fines, bagging and/or drumming of aloxite grain, movement of supplies and material.
General Responsibility

As assigned;
(1) performs all functions required to construct and repair screens and related equipment used on all types of grading equipment and will be responsible for maintaining inventory of screens and of all related supplies;(2) performs general cleaning duties including operation of power sweeper;
(3) operates freight elevator in order to transport any and all materials between floors and operations;
(4) fills, weighs, and seals bags, drums, kegs, and all other packing materials from sources indicated by supervision. When necessary, may perform basic quality assurance tests as well as SPC charting;
(5) empty, maintain dust collection systems. Fill containers with D.C. fines and transport to designated area;
(6) Makes slings for shipping containers, braces, blocks containers.
- Operates a jitney to unload, transport, store and deliver all material and merchandise.
- Will obey all safety, fire and environmental regulations
